About Matt Lohmeyer

Matt Lohmeyer

 

Dr Matt Lohmeyer is an experienced negotiator in the specialist field of intellectual property, patent and trade mark licensing. He has held senior positions in academic and commercial organisations and has 15 years of global experience in negotiating licensing, investment, strategic partnering, collaboration and contract service agreements with a focus on the pharmaceutical and biotechnology sector. He is also trained as a mediator, advises on alternative dispute resolution and facilitates commercial dispute settlements.


Before joining Scotwork, Matt was Senior Business Manager at London-based CRC Technology, General Manager - Biotechnology & Medicine at Unisearch and a member of CSIRO's Corporate Transactions Team. Matt is a graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors, a member of LEADR, the professional association of dispute resolvers, and a member of the Licensing Executives Society Australia & NZ (LESANZ). He managed the activities of AusBiotech Ltd in NSW for 5 years, most recently as Vice-Chair, and he is serving in his 5th year on the NSW Committee of LESANZ.


Matt received his Bachelor, Masters and Ph.D. degrees from the University of Cambridge, UK and has completed postgraduate executive programs at Macquarie Graduate School of Management. Matt is based in Sydney.
