About Yasmin King
With a background in economics and
finance, Yasmin King has extensive experience in leading complex
negotiations and providing strategic and business consulting
services particulary in tendering and procurement in the private
and public sectors. Yasmin also has detailed knowledge in the area
of compliance and regulation as a former Associate Commissioner for
the Australian Consumer and Competition Commission.
Yasmin has acted on behalf of Governments in the role of lead
negotiator for multi State Government and Territory contracts and
provides strategic advice on stakeholder management and tendering
processes including probity. Yasmin is also Independent Chair of
Brown Wright Stein. In past roles, Yasmin has worked as the
Economics Advisor to the Premier of South Australia, and been a
member of a range of Boards and Committees dealing with IT&T
development and Information Economy issues.
Yasmin has a Bachelor of Economics (Honors) and a Masters of
Business Administration from the University of Adelaide. She is a
Certified Practicing Accountant (Fellow) and Fellow of the
Australian Institute of Company Directors.
