Negotiation Skills Course Format & Timetable


The Scotwork Advanced Negotiating Skills program is fast-paced, practical and fun.


Run over one evening and two and a half intensive days, you'll spend more than 80% of your time practicing and being coached by our experts.

Working in teams, up to 12 course participants undertake a series of live negotiating exercises, which are video recorded and then reviewed by the two course consultants. It takes exceptional aptitude and experience for a consultants to be able to analyse the negotiation in real time, identify the negotiating lessons and immediately feed these back to the participants, while linking the lessons to their real-world business environment. The participant to tutor ratio of 6 to 1 allows each individual to receive personal attention, resulting in optimal skills development and a measurable improvement in performance.

 

Because you undertake a series of cases, you have the opportnuity to build your skills based on the coaching and advice you get from the earlier cases.


The standard timetable is deliberately intensive, and very effective:

 

Monday 4:00pm - 6:00pm
Tuesday 8:15am - 6:00pm
Wednesday 8:15am - 6:00pm
Thursday 8:15am - 3:00pm

 

 For in-house programs we can also customise timetables to meet your team's needs, although we always deliver a fast-paced and intensive program to ensure quick build-up of skills.

 


Public and In-house format
The course is offered in two formats, in-house training for groups of up to 12 from one organisation, and open (public) courses offered regularly in major cities around Australia.
