The Next Steps
The Next Steps will drill down further, refresh and supplement
your negotiating skills. You will develop a better understanding of
the strategic framework within which your long term business
relationships operate. As well as ongoing skills development from
our experienced coaching team, you will gain valuable knowledge on
how to help coach others within your business to get better results
from their negotiations.

This 3 day course allows you to:
- Fit negotiations into a broad strategic business picture
- Engage the other party on a level "beyond the transaction";
building more strategic business relationships
- Understand buyer and seller behaviour in the negotiation
framework
- Recognise and deal with negotiation tactics
- Have an advanced planning tool to aid negotiation
preparation
- Use the PODEL diagnostic tool to validate decision making in
the creation of effective strategies
- Negotiate more successfully where long term relationships are
important
- Improve negotiation confidence

Like the Advanced course that participants have already completed,
the timetable is
intensive with 25 hours of the course devoted to practical skills
building.
Day One 10.00am - 7.00pm
Day Two 8.30am - 6.30pm
Day Three 8.00am - 3.30pm

The 2012 course fee for up to 12
participants is $42,500 plus GST, plus the cost of a suitable
venue, and travel and accommodation expenses for two Scotwork
consultants. All participants must have previously completed
the Scotwork Advanced Negotiating Skills program.
