In response to the 68% of participants who told us they want
more skills development from Scotwork, we developed the "Skills
Builder". The Skills Builder course is designed to continue your
development and deployment of negotiation skills learnt from the
Advanced Negotiation Skills Course. A typical participant takes a
number of skills or techniques from the Advanced Negotiating Skills
course, which they apply consistently in their negotiations. The
Skills Builder course aims to double the number of key skills used
on a daily basis.
Who Should Attend?
The Skills Builder is a negotiation development course for those
who have successfully completed the Scotwork Advanced Negotiating
Skills course and who wish to refine and improve their negotiation
skills. Typically, participants will attend the Skills builder
program 6 months after the Advanced Negotiating Skills Course.

each individual over 4 hours of live negotiating practise and
analysis.

Builder negotiation workshop uses a variety of original exercises
to give "texture" to the learning process and to help fix the ideas
and techniques in each participant's mind.
We remember what we see; The Skills Builder
negotiation workshop uses strong visual images to improve recall
and application of the negotiation skills.
We remember what we do; new case-play materials
reflect many of the common business challenges and allow
participants to draw conclusions to apply at work.
We remember what we discuss; one-to-one
discussion with the course leaders reviewing their "Awareness"
profile; their existing use of the skills; their personal
negotiating challenges; and their individual "Skills and Actions"
plans helps address many of the participants' concerns.
We remember what we find useful; restructured
Objective form, Negotiating feedback form, Negotiating Results Log
and Tactical Advice notes, all provide practical tools for use back
at work.

Like the Advanced Negotiating Skills course that you have
already completed, the timetable is intensive but we will make this
a challenging, practical and enjoyable few days.

Pricing
The 2012 Australian open course fee per person is $2,830 plus
GST, including course materials and lunch, morning and afternoon
teas for the duration of the program.
The 2012 Skills Builder negotiating course fee for one-company
(in-house) programs up to 12 participants is $25,000 plus GST, plus
the cost of a suitable venue, and travel and accommodation for two
consultants.
