John Hopkins

John is a sales and marketing professional with over 20 years experience working with multi-national and market-leading companies in the FMCG, packaging and travel industries.
Prior to joining Scotwork, John worked for a large global packaging company to manage and grow its relationships with well-known Australian consumer goods companies in the beer, wine, spirits, food and non-alcoholic beverage categories. John played an integral role in the successful negotiation of long-term, multi-million dollar supply contracts across multiple categories with multiple customers.
Furthermore, John’s extensive experience in manufacturing means he negotiated daily across the complete supply chain from planning, and procurement though production, quality and third party logistics. John is a qualified Lean Six Sigma Green Belt practitioner and has led projects aimed at driving greater value and reducing waste for all parties. John’s Scotwork training encouraged and supported him to negotiate better and more sustainable outcomes in these projects.
John has an Executive Certificate in Business from Monash University and is planning to complete a Masters in Business Administration. John was born in Canada and is fluent in both English and French.
